Found a triple room at this hotel it was a good deal at just over 90 euos for 3 people. They have a special price in August and it is a bit more expensive other times of the year. This place is two blocks away from the Colosseum and few munutes from the Forum. I highly reccomend anyone this little place, good staff, good breakfast and very good rooms.

We had just a perfect time staying at the Domus Caracalla. It isn't in the thick of all the "sights" of Rome but we had no trouble walking, catching the subway or train from the hotel. It is in a more residential area so sleeping was very peaceful, the A/C was great, and breakfast out on the patio was such a great way to start the day. Thank you for the excellent care you took of us during our visit.

I am traveling with my 60 year old mother and after 2 weeks in Germany at 5 Star Hotels, we are enjoying staying at Domus Caracalla. The atmosphere is wonderful, the location is spectacular, and the couple who run the B&B could not be more accomodating.
The rooms are very nice and bigger than I expected by normal European standards. There is free internet service, and breakfast is served on the Veranda right outside of the room every morning. The breakfast is rolls, cake, coffee or Espresso, a hard boiled egg, yogurt, and juice.
The B&B is located .9k from the Coliseum where you can then pick up a Stop and Go tourist bus and travel all over Rome for 20 Euro every 24 hours, but there is also a metro right there as well. We chose the Stop and Go because we are not familiar with the Metro stops or train system and have heard they can be filled with pickpockets.
It can be a little difficult to find at first, but you go to the address (building 11) and press the button for #14. Then the B&B is on the 6th Floor. You have to go around the first elevator, down the stairs and through the courtyard to the second elevator, and ride the second elevator up to the 6th floor where they will be waiting to let you in. Adrianna is very pleasant and helpful.
We truly could not have picked a better place to stay and it is very reasonablly priced.

We were very pleasantly suprised by Domus Caracalla and would definitely recommend it for a short city break, especially as the rates were very reasonable.
We had a little trouble finding it as it is in an apartment block- if you are planning to stay here, the property itself is number 11, and the apartment number is 14, there are no clear signs e.g. 'B &B.' We had to press the buzzer as if visiting the apartment itself, then we were let in. Ignore the first lift, go straight ahead to the courtyard and its the second lift you come to. Domus Caracalla (or apartment 14) is on the 6th floor.
Other than the trouble finding it we had no problems whatsoever. The room itself was very nicely decorated and very clean. We had a good a/c system and clean towels every day and we particularly liked the shower. We were also served a very decent breakfast at a time of our choosing each morning. The staff are very friendly and simply let you go about your business. A slight drawback for some is the 1am curfew after which time presumably there will be no one there to let you into the building, though this never happened to us.
The location is not bad at all, the nearest metro stop to walk to is probably Colloseo which is about 10-15 mins walk. We preferred buses to termini, the 714 will drop you off just round the corner.
Overall a very pleasant stay.

This is exactly the kind of accomodation I have been looking for in Romeand have had trouble finding. It is small, personal, friendly, and well maintained. The price was very reasonable, and the breakfast was good. It is near the major tourist areas and was exactly where we needed to be to visit our relatives in northeast Rome. The bus stop and metro station are very close and gives access to downtown Rome and other destinations. Restaurants and pubs are right at hand. It was perfect for our needs. We will be back!”

We stayed @ the Domus Caracalla and found the location great for exploring Rome on foot. You are just blocks from the ancient city ruins. The rooms but very clean and nice.Giovanna was very Helpful and friendly. The neighborhood is quiet and there are restaurants. The Metro stop is just 5 min. throw away. (Just beware of taking a tour with the Greenline Tours. We did, and got dropped off a couple of miles away from our hotel.)Breakfast is included in your room rate, and was plentiful with good coffee or espresso, fruit, juices, breads, eggs, ect. It was a great base for exploring Rome and at a reasonable price.

In a completely residential block (and building), we weren't sure we were in the right place at first. However, once we were inside Domus Caracalla we were pleasantly surprised by the lovely decor, excellent service, and wonderful modern amenities. Our room was big, quiet, comfortable, and had a top notch bathroom with all brand new fixtures. Everything was spotlessly clean and new. Breakfast on our personal balcony was delicious and relaxing. The neighborhood is not hugely central, but it was great as a quiet get away from all the tourist. The staff was very courteous and helpful. And the price was surprisingly reasonable. I highly recommend this place.

Stefano and Giovanna are wonderful hosts. Their B&B is new, clean and very neat. the breakfast is a feast. For such a busy location their rooms are quiet and close to transportation and businesses. These folks are a diamond . We will return there soon. Bill McKenna, Northport, New York, USA.
